Project Athena - Day 156 (Micro/Macro)

Up Close and Beautiful

Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.
— Albert Einstein

I have always been attracted to agate stones finding such beauty in their diversity, colors, and patterns. Metaphysically, they are supposed to enhance creativity and the intellect, making them awesome stones for both students and artists. I always feel very grounded with this stone on my person even though it is also known for increasing energy. I picked this one out a few months back and today, was inspired to attempt capturing the detail of its gorgeous colors, striations, and texture. It was a little harder than I thought it would be to photograph.

I'm looking forward to having my photo light tent soon (purchased on Amazon with birthday money. Yay! And thank you Mom and Dad) Maybe it will come tomorrow making the rest of this week's theme a little easier. Still, I hope you enjoy.
