Project Athena - Day 78 (Barns)

Big Red Barn

There is something about the old barns that leaves me feeling wistful....and smiling.
— Me

This historical, big red barn that sits on Taft Hill Road is a wonderful Fort Collins landmark. It is part of the historical Mead family farmstead that has recently been brought back to life as Spring Kite Farm. http://www.springkitefarm.com

This is one  of my favorite barns in the area and my eyes are drawn to the contrasting brilliant red colors outlined in bright white every time I pass by it. While I have gazed upon this barn literally thousands of times, It wasn't until today that I noticed the amusing crooked window in the peak.

This experience of photographing everyday continues to bless my life and my change my perceptions of the world around me. Deep appreciation is here for the way Spirit is "upgrading my program" so to speak.
