Project Athena - Day 315 (Framed)

Spring is Coming

I had a weird day out shooting. I felt somewhat like I had been abducted from my body by aliens and taken to the mothership for experiments. I don't know why exactly. Maybe driving around East of I-25 is not such a good idea for this earth Momma. Between the fracking wells, the factory farms, and the fertilizers, I was in an alternate universe for awhile. Once I crossed back over to the West side, I started feeling grounded again. Huh. Weird.

Project Athena - Day 68 (Trees)

The Giving Trees

Once there was a giving tree who loved a little boy.
And everyday the boy would come to play
Swinging from the branches, sleeping in the shade
Laughing all the summer’s hours away.
And so they love,
Oh, the tree was happy.
Oh, the tree was glad.

Chapungu Sculpture Park in Loveland is little sanctuary in the city is one of my favorite places to walk, sit, meditate, and take pictures.

I was very surprised to find the leaves on the trees already beginning to turn color. Fall is just around the corner. Smiling.
